Allied Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents and staff at our communities.

You will help with grounds, common areas, and may assist in housekeeping and maintenance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong organizational skills with time management.
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other spaces.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean carpets, rugs, and surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Empty trash and replace bathroom supplies as needed; transport waste to disposal areas.
• Maintain exterior areas by mowing, trimming shrubs, removing debris, and snow shoveling.
• Assist in transporting small equipment between departments; support staff as needed.
