Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the building’s exterior and surrounding grounds. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning around trees and walkways, debris removal, and safe operation of grounds equipment.

The role is full-time, non-exempt with benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a 401(k) match. Schedule: Sat-Sun-Mon, 10:00–16:00, with potential travel for training and company functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
