FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the building’s grounds including lawn care, trimming, debris removal, and safe access for residents and staff. The role requires physical fitness and ability to operate handheld tools.

The schedule runs Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday & Saturday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with compensation at $18.00 per hour. Full-time benefits are provided in a non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsabilités

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
