Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical community is well-kept, safe, and appealing. You will support the service team with make-ready tasks, manage common areas, and respond to maintenance requests while following safety policies and company procedures.

The role requires mobility, ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent resident service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
• Ability to follow safety policies and OSHA-related guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily to ensure grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Remove trash and prepare vacants, assist with the turn process and make-ready tasks.
• Complete routine service requests and support the service supervisor and community manager.
• Change locks per policy and ensure pool area gates meet safety standards.
• Distribute notices to residents and report hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Demonstrate customer service by addressing resident questions and concerns about maintenance.
• Attend safety meetings and training, and comply with safety rules and procedures.
