Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Groundskeeper for Arbor Lake in Covington, GA. You will maintain grounds, clean common areas, manage trash, and assist with snow/ice removal while using a digital device to document work orders and inspections. Ensure safety and Fair Housing compliance as part of daily responsibilities and staff collaboration.

The role supports a mission-driven team focused on affordable housing communities, requiring reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English orally and understand written and oral instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• May require a valid driver’s license, ability to drive a motor vehicle, mini-truck, under-speed vehicles (USV) and utility vehicles (UTV) and auto insurance depending on the property.

Responsibilities

• Grounds and Exterior Maintenance - Walks the property daily to remove trash from Grounds: (front and rear of buildings), breezeways, parking lots, playground, drain basin edges, behind fence lines, clean around all dumpsters, rake/mulch around trees and landscaped areas, weed around trees and flowerbeds, water grounds as needed. Perform snow removal: shovel steps, sidewalks, and walkways, apply ice melt when slippery, remain on duty until all snow is cleared per policy and report snow/ice removal activities to the Community Manager.
