You will use hand and power tools, handle snow and salt during winter, and support make-ready tasks while following safety procedures. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation and own means to travel between properties.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical outdoor work.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies during inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor.
• Assist with unit make-ready tasks as requested.
• Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$16 hourly and Transportation Allowance

Job Overview:

Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hard-working Groundskeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor
• Assist with unit “make-ready” tasks as requested
• Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
