Apartment Services, Inc. in East Baltimore City, MD is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper/Maintenance Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents. This full-time outdoor role involves daily exterior maintenance and occasional multi-property rotations.

You will operate landscaping tools, perform snow removal, assist with make-ready tasks, and follow safety procedures. The position offers a $16 hourly wage plus a transportation allowance and benefits after 60

Qualifications

• Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenance.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor.
• Assist with unit “make-ready” tasks as requested.
• Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Availability for emergency response during inclement weather
