Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain a clean, safe community for residents. This outdoor role involves operating landscaping tools and working as part of a team.

You will walk the property daily, perform mowing and trimming, handle snow and ice, and assist with make-ready tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and outdoor maintenance.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor.
• Assist with unit make-ready tasks as requested.

Pay:$16 hourly and Transportation Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor
• Assist with unit "make-ready" tasks as requested
• Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation required; may be assigned to multiple properties during a shift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work (standing, walking, bending, kneeling)
• Able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Availability for emergency response during inclement weather
