Job summary

Studio City Apartments LLC is seeking an Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, amenities, and exterior of our multi-family community. You will assist in cleaning and prepping vacant units and support the maintenance team with tasks as needed.

Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and keen attention to detail. Reporting to the Director of Facility Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as apartment porter or groundskeeper preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Good dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing market-ready units, including trash outs.
• Assist Director of Facility Management/Maintenance Supervisor with maintenance tasks.
• Assist in cleaning available apartments and models.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable).
• Report maintenance concerns to the Director of Facility Management.

Job Description

Apartment Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. Additionally, the apartment porter/groundskeeper is responsible for assisting apartment maintenance with apartment clean-outs. This role may include, but is not limited to:

• upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Assist Director of Facility Management/Maintenance Supervisor and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable).
• Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of groundskeeping equipment.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Director of Facility Management
