Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Houston seeks a groundskeeper for our 336-unit community in northwest Houston. You will maintain lawns, landscaping, and common areas, with attention to detail and safety.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a competitive benefits package, and opportunities to learn maintenance and repairs within a thriving apartment environment. Work days are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekend needs possible.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Valid Texas driver's license preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Walking the property grounds and common areas.
• Picking up trash and debris.
• Performing minor repair and maintenance duties using tools and cleaning supplies.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the Community Manager, Service Supervisor, and/or Assistant Community Manager.

Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a groundskeeper for our 336-unit apartment community in northwest Houston! Our Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. If you enjoy working outside and have an eye for detail, we would love to meet you!
