Job summary

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to join our client's team at two properties in Edina, MN. The role requires at least 1 year in a porter or groundskeeping role; residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.

The position is contract to hire, with salary $25-30/hour and a Monday–Friday schedule 8am–4:30pm. You will perform routine upkeep of grounds, buildings, and amenities to maintain curb appeal, assist in unit turns, handle trash removal, weather prep, and operate

• Valid Driver's License and active vehicle insurance.
• Background check will be conducted prior to employment.

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to join on of our client's team at (2) of their properties in Edina, MN (55435). A minimum of 1 years' experience within a porter or groundskeeping role - residential multi-family experience is highly preferred. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Salary: $25-30/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Weekly schedule: M-F 8am-430pm.

The Groundskeeper performs routine upkeep of the apartment community including buildings, amenities, and surrounding areas, ensuring a welcoming impression for residents, guests, and team members on-site. You will be expected to maintain the communities curb appeal while communicating effectively and professionally. It is expected that assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner and will likely require operating tools and equipment in accordance with safety and operations standards.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Responsible for meticulous upkeep and trash removal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and community common areas.
• Assist in the cleaning and preparation of units including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Complete weather preparation and clean up as needed.
• Organize, maintain, and utilize provided supplies in a cost-effective manner.
• Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company.
• Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 years' experience within a porter or groundskeeping role - residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.
• Light maintenance experience - lock changing, shoveling, salting, picking up trash, replacing lightbulbs, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, helping with unit turns and other duties as assigned.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Hospitality set mind-set when working with the residents.
• Hold a valid Driver's License and active vehicle insurance.
• Be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
