Job summary

Tesoro Group is seeking a Contents Technician to join our client’s team in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro and surrounding areas. The role involves roving to multiple locations, with 50% time in the field and 50% onsite at project sites.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for travel. The position is contract-to-hire after about six months, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, and some weeknights/weekends during peak seasons.

• Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Be able to use personal cell phone for documentation at job sites.

Tesoro Group is seeking a Contents Technician to join one of our long-term client’s team in Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in general residential maintenance and construction. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this role is roving to multiple locations. This is a contract to hire role (6 months before conversion).

Salary

$20-$21/hour DOQ.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm (some weeknight and weekend availability required during peak seasons). This role will be meeting at their corporate office in Plymouth and then be dispatched to current project sites for the day.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

This is an onsite position for some of the time but the candidates need to be open to going out in the field as well as projects come in (50/50 onsite/in the field). Technicians will be in a clean room, cleaning and restoring damaged property that was removed from the customers homes in an effort to salvage the items and have them returned. They will also go into the field to help pack up some of the contents as well.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6 months’ experience in general residential maintenance and construction – common knowledge of basic hand tools, power tools, and remodeling/demolition.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly (furniture & demolition debris).
• Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this role is roving to multiple locations.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Be able to use personal cell phone for taking photos and documentation while at job sites.
