Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Groundskeeper to join the maintenance team and maintain the community appearance, including models, vacant units, and public areas. Responsibilities include cleaning after move-out, trash removal, landscaping, and assisting with make-readies and housekeeping as needed.

The role emphasizes security and asset protection, with on-site duties and a requirement for a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Active and valid driver\'s license and personal vehicle required.
• Available on notice for snow/ice and on-site emergencies.
• Up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean apartments after move-out and prepare them for new residents.
• Remove all trash from the grounds daily.
• Sweep sidewalks and driveways regularly.
• Water trees and trim grass and shrubs.
• Assist maintenance with make-readies and housekeeping when needed.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Distribute flyers and letters to residents when necessary.
• Keep the Maintenance shop clean.
• Responsible for the security of the property at all times.
• Keep all keys secure and not handed to unauthorized persons.

The Groundskeeper is an integral part of our maintenance team. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the community which includes, but is not limited to, the community models, vacant units and public access areas like the office and clubhouse. The Groundskeeper duties will include:

• Cleaning apartments after move-out and preparing them for new residents.
• Remove all trash from the grounds of the community daily.
• Sweep sidewalks and driveways on a regular basis.
• Water trees as well as trim grass and shrubs.
• Support the maintenance team with make-readies and lend a hand to housekeeping when necessary.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Distribute flyers and letters to residents if necessary.
• Assist in keeping the Maintenance shop clean.
• Responsible for the security of the property at all times.
• Keeping all keys to the property in his/her personal possession and refusing to hand the keys to any unauthorized person.
