Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Service Technician in Fayetteville, NC to ensure apartment community maintenance meets company standards and legal requirements. This full-time role involves diagnosing HVAC and appliance issues, performing general repairs, and keeping residents informed of progress.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in line with standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets and complete tasks efficiently.
• Communicate repairs and updates clearly with residents and staff.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this apartment community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As The Service Technician, You Will Help To

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates
  
  

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $17.00 – $21.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Monday – Friday
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
