What You’ll Do: As a Groundskeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and physical condition of our community, creating a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for our residents. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager.

Where You’ll Work: Discover the perfect blend of convenience and luxury at The 1785 Club Athens, your premier off-campus student apartment community in Athens, GA near the University of Georgia. Our apartments are designed to meet your needs, offering modern luxury finishes just minutes from Sanford Stadium.

What You’ll Own:

• Keep all interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and presentable, including buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds. Tasks include litter pickup, sweeping, blowing, pressure washing, etc.
• Care for plants, shrubs, and flowers by watering and maintaining their health.
• Assist with swimming pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure safety standards are met.
• Support unit turnover processes, including trashing out vacant units and collaborating with vendors.
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents, including delivering newsletters and correspondence.
• Inspect the property daily for hazards or liability concerns.
• Use resources, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely.
• Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or housekeeping preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to walk, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work from ladders.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property with reliable transportation for on-call duties.
