Job summary

Montana State University - Office of Student Engagement seeks an Equipment Operator II to support the Grounds/Waste team. The role focuses on waste, recycling, and snow removal, performing varied duties in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will operate a range of waste and grounds equipment, assist with street and sidewalk maintenance, and ensure safety in outdoor work areas. CDL Class B and prior grounds/waste experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Montana CDL – Minimum Class B Type II.
• Experience in general commercial grounds or waste operations.

Responsibilities

• Waste/ Recycling collection, loading, hauling and disposition.
• Street, sidewalk and entryway snow removal and ice remediation.
• Street and sidewalk maintenance.
• Outdoor environmental safety.
• Equipment maintenance.
• Record keeping.
• Performing other related duties as required.
