Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Grounds Operator to perform snow removal, grounds maintenance, and related tasks. You will operate skid steers, front-end loaders, shuttle buses, and dump trucks, with on-call requirements and physically demanding outdoor work in sub-zero conditions.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of grounds or snow removal experience, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to train for CDL Class B as needed. Four 10-hour days and safety-conscious work ethic are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desirable.
• 1+ years of grounds/landscape and/or snow removal experience.
• Experience operating skid steers, front-end loaders, and dump trucks.
• Willing to train for a CDL Class B license as requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal functions including plowing, scraping ice, pushing back snow piles, and hauling snow with heavy equipment.
• Maintain grounds and parking areas in a clean, attractive, and reasonably safe condition.
• Operate skid steers, front-end loaders, shuttle bus, and 12 yard dump trucks as needed.
• Prepare grounds for summer and winter resort operations and assist with landscape construction as required.
• Assist guests with directions and information in a friendly, professional manner.
