Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based work, clearing brush and trees, and helping with site clean-up. A valid Driver's License is required.

You will load and unload materials, operate basic equipment, set up traffic control, and assist with storm restoration as needed. The job offers health insurance and a 401(k) plan. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must possess physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use equipment.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Driver’s license required if driving position.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules on site.
• Clear debris and vegetation; use hand tools and saws as directed.
• Load/unload trucks, feed brush into chipper, and perform site cleanup.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic to protect workers.
• Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned; perform basic maintenance.
