What You’ll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day landscaping operations such as mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, mulching, and seasonal clean‑up
- Ensure a safe, attractive, and well‑maintained campus year‑round
- Coordinate and support snow removal operations, including equipment readiness and staffing
- Supervise grounds staff, contractors, and volunteers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency
- Manage tools, equipment, supplies, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Support budgeting, documentation, and compliance within the Facilities and Grounds Department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with ability to operate company vehicles and transport materials/equipment
- Preferred: knowledge of horticulture, including plant care, landscape design, and sustainable practices
- Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator License within 6 months of hire
