Job summary

Health First is seeking a Groundskeeper in Florida to maintain the exterior environment and promote safety. The role involves routine grounds assessment, cleaning, and coordinating with leadership on hazard fixes.

It also supports the hurricane preparedness plan and coordinates with vendors as needed. The position requires one year of general work experience, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and basic mechanical and computer skills.

• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Mechanical skills to maintain/repair equipment.

• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Direct individuals to locations and convey service status.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and cleanliness of exterior environment with daily rounds.
• Identifies slip, trip, and fall hazards and remediates or reports hazards.
• Supports safety by reporting lighting outages or damaged outdoor seating.
• Cleans exterior areas, including pressure cleaning and trash removal.
• Evaluates exterior elements like drains, irrigation, signage, and lighting.
• Operates small engine equipment (e.g., utility vehicle, street sweeper, pressure washer).
• Executes hurricane preparedness plan activities for exterior grounds.
• Refreshes exterior aesthetics by painting fixtures and replacing signage.
• Interacts with customers, visitors, and associates professionally.
