Job summary
Capital Vacations is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the resort grounds in Florida, ensuring a safe, clean environment for guests and owners. The role involves landscaping duties, lawn and irrigation care, and basic maintenance tasks across resort properties.
A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of groundskeeping experience are required; OSHA awareness and safe handling of tools are emphasized to uphold safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year groundskeeping experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency with manual and power hand tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the landscaping of the resort and provides a safe, clean environment for guests and owners.
- Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation systems including trimming and fertilizing.
- Operates and maintains hand tools and power equipment efficiently.
- Keeps grounds free from trash and debris; empties trash receptacles.
- Performs basic irrigation audits and repairs; assists with other maintenance tasks as needed.
