Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to plan, oversee, and perform grounds tasks such as mowing, trimming, tree work, and mulching. You will manage labor budgets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards on campus.

The role requires 2+ leadership years, 5+ related field experience, and HS min (Bachelor's preferred). Strong English, MS Office, and environmental practice knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist in maintaining man-hours and supply costs.
• Ability to manage the day activities in supervising staff including training, hiring, terminations, orienting and evaluating performance.
• Knowledge about best environmental practices
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees grounds maintenance operations.
• Monitors budget for labor hours and materials.
• Coordinates with vendors and staff to schedule tasks.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and safety practices.
• Trains and supervises maintenance staff.
• Maintains records of maintenance, expenses, and equipment.
• Develops maintenance schedules.
• Inspects grounds to identify needs and take action.
