Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin seeks a Grounds Leader to oversee daily operations of the Grounds Department, supervising a team and ensuring landscape maintenance across the property in a way that delivers exceptional guest experiences. This role supports the opening of Canyon Ranch Austin in Fall 2026.

You will recruit, train, and develop Grounds colleagues, fostering safety, teamwork, and operational excellence while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces for

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive groundskeeping or landscaping experience with leadership preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; Group B qualifications required.
• Expertise in irrigation, plant identification, turf management, tree care, water conservation, xeriscaping.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to supervise and motivate a team; safety-first mindset.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds; adaptable to flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Grounds Department; supervise team and ensure maintenance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Grounds colleagues; foster safety and teamwork.
• Oversee care of gardens, turf, trees, and irrigation; maintain outdoor environments.
• Coordinate landscape projects, equipment maintenance, supply management, and capital improvements.
• Maintain property trails, stormwater systems, drainage; ensure guest-ready spaces.
• Share horticultural expertise with colleagues and guests; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
