Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin is seeking a seasoned facilities operations lead to oversee daily property performance, safety, and guest comfort. You will manage maintenance, budgeting, and cross‑ department coordination to sustain top service standards in a luxury wellness resort environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in facilities, hotel operations, or related fields, with strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities, engineering, hotel operations, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong operational and technical knowledge of facilities operations.
  • Ability to manage budgets, inventory, projects, and operational decisions independently.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

  • Oversee facility operations to keep the property running smoothly.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and support colleagues while maintaining high standards for performance and service.
  • Coordinate maintenance, construction, alterations, and capital projects to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Manage department programs, budgets, inventories, checklists, and financial controls to support efficient operations.
  • Partner with contractors, vendors, and property leadership to coordinate projects and ensure operational needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to coordinate planned work, share updates, and support seamless day-to-day operations..
Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities, engineering, hotel operations, or a related field, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and interruptions.
  • Strong operational and technical knowledge of facilities operations.
  • Strong business and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage budgets, inventory, projects, and operational decisions independently.
  • A guest-focused, collaborative mindset with strong judgment, attention to detail, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to the Canyon Ranch mission.
