Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin is hiring for a groundskeeping role as part of the team opening in Fall 2026 in the Texas Hill Country. The position focuses on maintaining outdoor spaces, irrigation, and landscape improvements to support guest experiences at the new Austin destination.

Qualified candidates bring 4–6+ years in groundskeeping or horticulture, strong irrigation and carpentry skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in groundskeeping or horticulture.
• Experience in irrigation and landscape equipment operation.
• Basic construction or carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to mentor teammates.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training is a plus.
• Irrigation and pesticide certifications valued.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced grounds and horticultural maintenance, including planting, pruning, irrigation troubleshooting, and overall landscape care.
• Maintain and enhance planting beds, turf, and landscapes while upholding aesthetic standards and guest experience.
• Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and implement pest control and seasonal care programs.
• Lead advanced grounds operations, including equipment use, landscape improvements, and safety compliance.
• Perform and coordinate repairs to outdoor structures, collaborating with Facilities or vendors for larger projects.
• Provide guidance and informal training to junior team members and support cross‑functional collaboration.
