Job summary

American Campus Communities seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior and interior common areas of our ACC student housing communities. You will clean, landscape, and support the service team with moves and turnovers to keep the property inviting.

Training is provided; prior facilities maintenance helpful. You must be able to follow multi-step instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate a golf cart as needed. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and property maintenance is preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions and safety protocols.
• Willingness to handle cleaning, groundskeeping and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to standards and maintain grounds.
• Assist service team with work orders, moves, and supplies storage.
• Support make-readies, trash outs, painting and turnover processes.
• Maintain shops and storage areas, organize tools and materials.
• Operate facility equipment safely and assist with pool maintenance if applicable.
