Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain student housing community features and grounds. You’ll keep interior and exterior spaces clean, restocking and maintaining amenities to uphold curb appeal.

Training is provided, with opportunities to gain certifications and grow within nearby properties. You will assist the service team, perform make-ready tasks, and help with turnover processes while following safety protocols and maintaining community standards across resident

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor or property maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and train for certifications and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to property standards.
• Maintain grounds including trash collection and common areas.
• Assist service team with work orders, furniture moves, and supplies.
• Support make-ready duties: trash outs, cleaning, painting, turnover.
• Assist with pool maintenance (if applicable) and pressure washing.
• Safely operate facility equipment and maintain safe work practices.
