Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep community grounds clean and well maintained. You will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to ensure exterior spaces meet company standards.

Responsibilities include landscaping, debris removal, gutters, and basic maintenance tasks. The role may involve pool maintenance, snow shoveling, and safety-compliant operations. A HS diploma and prior grounds keeping experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of grounds keeping in a multi-family environment.
• 2+ years of landscaping experience preferred.
• HVAC/EPA certifications may be required depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property and surrounding areas.
• Keep buildings and common areas clean and well landscaped; manage gutters and debris.
• Plant and tend flowerbeds, trees, shrubs; mow lawns; apply fertilizer/insecticides and pest control as needed.
• Clean vacated apartments and common areas; assist with light maintenance and painting as directed.
• Follow safety procedures, perform pool maintenance if required, and shovel snow or spread salt in winter as needed.
