Job summary

sstjobs is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician in Greensboro, NC for a direct-hire, on-site role. The position offers an hourly range and requires outdoor work across all seasons. You will cut grass, spray weeds, perform debris removal, and travel to multiple job sites weekly.

A valid driver's license with a clean record is required, as is the ability to lift 50 pounds and pass a drug screen. Training is provided; benefits and travel expectations are included as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with lawn care equipment and basic mechanics is preferred.
• Must be local to Greensboro, NC and 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass and spray weeds on assigned sites.
• Debris removal, including branches and limbs.
• Operate a company truck and equipment provided.
• Travel to multiple job sites weekly; weekends as needed; OT as required.

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team.

Hourly Range: $20hr - $26hr (+OT)

Base Schedule: M-F, 7am - 4:30pm (OT inclusive), weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Basic experience with working with lawn care equipment, tools and accessories
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer (will be required to prove competency prior to employment)
• Must have the ability to pick up items over 50 pounds
• Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to meet a set number of job sites each week
• Must be willing to work outside throughout all seasons
• Basic mechanical stills are required
• Must be local to the Greensboro, NC. area
• You must be 21 years and older to apply
