Job summary

Obsolete Site at Fort Bliss, TX is seeking a dependable grounds maintenance worker to keep exterior areas clean, safe, and well‑groomed. You will perform weed control, prune shrubs, and operate basic grounds‑keeping tools and equipment.

Responsibilities include executing duties with minimal supervision, standing or walking for extended periods, and meeting pre‑employment requirements. The role may require flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of laboring experience required.
• The ability to use, control, and clean tools and power equipment used.
• The ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs ground maintenance tasks to keep area clean and safe.
• Controls weeds and maintains landscaping areas.
• Trims and prunes shrubs, bushes, and trees as needed.
• Operates basic grounds-keeping equipment and tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
