Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain lawns, hedges, and outdoor areas at our facilities. You will cut grass, trim edges, and remove debris to keep sites clean and safe for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include operating grass trimmers, blowers, and basic maintenance of tools. Candidates should have basic landscaping tool knowledge and be able to meet physical requirements; valid driver’s license may be needed for driving tasks.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience performing similar work.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping hand and power tools.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass to specific requirements using a push mower.
• Remove grass clippings, trash, and debris from the work site.
• Operate grass/weed trimmer in areas not accessible to mowers.
• Trim hedges and edges along sidewalks, curbs, and parking areas.
