Job summary

Training,-Rehabilitation- is seeking a Labor, Grounds Maintenance worker for the Fort Hood area in Killeen, TX. The role requires operating lawn care equipment, trimming trees, and performing general grounds maintenance tasks on-site.

Applicants should have tree trimming experience, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, and be prepared for a flexible schedule. A valid driver’s license is a plus and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have tree trimming experience.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
• Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, sitting, walking and/or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds of industrial, commercial or public property.
• Repairs structures and equipment, including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing.
• Uses hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools to shape plants.
• Plants, waters and maintains grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; uses irrigation systems.
• Operates chainsaws and other equipment; assist in road and building maintenance.
