Job summary

Katmai Government Services, LLC is seeking a versatile grounds/maintenance worker for Fort Cavazos—Texas. The role involves loading/unloading, grounds upkeep, and assisting with range operations on military facilities.

You will operate tools, perform preventive maintenance, and support installation and repair activities in outdoor and warehouse environments, with occasional travel and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year military or civilian work experience.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Responsibilities

• Levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake.
• Cleans culverts and ditches, cuts tree and brush.
• Operates power lawnmowers, moves heavy furniture and equipment, spreads sand and salt on icy surfaces.
• Performs grounds and facilities maintenance as required.
• Assists with fabrication, preventive and corrective maintenance on RETS equipment.
• Works on installation, repair and maintenance of RETS equipment and range layout.
