Job summary

Lexington School District Two is seeking a Maintenance Grounds-Level III to help maintain the school plant for optimal operation across district facilities. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include district-wide grounds work, building maintenance tasks, and inventory management of tools and supplies. A valid driver's license and a non-commercial pesticide applicator license are required, with ongoing education

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs district-wide grounds maintenance, operates maintenance equipment, salts, marks fields, maintains sprinkling systems.
• Performs general maintenance inside/outside the plant (ceiling, roof, electrical, plumbing, masonry, etc.) and maintains inventory of tools and supplies.
• Adheres to safety and code requirements; applies herbicides/pesticides per state and federal laws; maintains applicator license via continuing education.
