Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; basic maintenance knowledge encouraged.
• Experience with maintenance tools and equipment used for grounds care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills for school environments.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains tractors, mowers, landscaping beds, trees, and shrubbery.
• Mows grass, trims edges, and fertilizes as part of grounds care.
• Operates tractors for snow removal and winter maintenance.
• Performs carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical tasks as qualified.
• Attends weekly building checks and substitutes building custodian as needed.
