Job summary
La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Groundskeeper to assist the Landscape Operations Manager with day-to-day tasks across Grounds, Beach, and Tennis Courts.
You will supervise grounds personnel, ensure maintenance programs, monitor safety, and maintain irrigation, turf, and equipment while upholding our standards of service and cleanliness. This on-site role requires a valid California driver’s license and an Associate’s degree or equivalent, with a commitment to safety
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to speak effectively in English with customers and employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintains Grounds, Hardscape, Beach, and Tennis Courts.
- Inspects and maintains irrigation systems and equipment.
- Cleans grounds and removes litter; trims shrubs and trees.
- Ensures safety practices and quality standards in all tasks.
