Job summary

Scripps Health in La Jolla, CA, is seeking a Groundskeeper to join the Groundskeeping Department at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. The role supports maintenance activities including mowing, planting, fertilizing and tree trimming, with a day shift 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.

Ideal candidates have a California driver’s license and prefer at least 5 years of grounds experience; a High School Diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• California driver's license required.
• 5+ years grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, turf maintenance, planting, fertilizing, and trimming trees and other vegetation.
• Picks up litter and trash; repairs sprinkler and irrigation systems and other ground maintenance duties as assigned.
