Job summary

Carolina Sweepers is hiring a Grounds Labor Technician to work outdoors at commercial properties in Atlanta, GA. You will pick up litter, wipe surfaces, change outdoor trash bags, and assist with dumpster enclosures.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Training is provided, with safety gear. We offer health, dental, vision, life insurance, a Simple IRA with 3% match, paid vacation, and holiday pay, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or cleaning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up litter and clean surfaces at commercial properties.
• Change trash bags in outdoor cans.
• Clean dumpster enclosures and move heavy items.
• Drive company pickup to job sites.
• Work on ladders/roofs or near retention ponds as needed.
• Hang signs and perform other maintenance tasks.

Our properties are mostly commercial/retail shopping centers. You will spend your days outside, rain or shine,

• Picking up litter
• Wiping/cleaning surfaces such as windowsills, trash can lid’s, benches, etc.
• Changing trash bags in outdoor trash cans
• Cleaning out dumpster enclosures, breaking down boxes, lifting/moving heavy pallets, furniture, etc.
• Other building maintenance work as needed
• You will drive a company pickup truck to and from jobsites
• May also be required to do some work on ladders/roofs or near retention ponds
• Hang signs

Requirements

This is a driving position. Applicants must have an active driver license and a clean driving record to be considered for this position.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with the work ethic necessary to operate on their own for most of the day. Experience is not required, however janitorial, and cleaning experience is a plus. Safety is our priority! Utilizing our Safety Coordinator and holding monthly safety meetings, we make sure our employees are protected from all kinds of hazards and have the proper PPE for the job.
