Job summary

Carolina Sweepers is seeking a hands-on Field Services Technician to join our growing team in Columbia, SC. In this outdoor, varied role you’ll perform minor maintenance, repairs, inspections, and pressure washing, sometimes solo or with a crew.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–6:30 pm, with early/late shifts or weekends as needed. We value problem-solvers who like on-the-job learning and staying active outdoors.

Qualifications

• Active driver license required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
• Availability to work early/late and/or on weekends as necessary.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• No two days are the same. Work in the field independently or with a team to keep properties in top shape.
• Performing minor maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, asphalt patching, etc.).
• Installing and servicing property signs.
• Conducting routine property inspections.
• Pressure washing.
• Safely operating a company vehicle and equipment.
• Using mobile apps and completing daily reports.
• Managing company tools and credit card with care.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

Requirements

• 2 years of experience preferred, but not required
• Active driver license and clean driving record
• Availability to work early/late and/or on weekends as necessary
• Ability to work on ladders/roofs and near retention ponds
• Ability to lift 100 lbs or more
• Willingness to work outside in all kinds of weather and come in contact with trash
• Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

This position is perfect with a range of backgrounds such as; General laborer, Handyman, Maintenance tech, Electrical, Plumbing, Asphalt, Concrete, Welding, Construction ex. experience is a plus.
