Job summary

Carolina Sweepers is hiring a Grounds Labor Technician to perform outdoor maintenance at commercial properties in Georgia and nearby. The role involves driving a company pickup to job sites, cleaning, and keeping areas tidy in all weather conditions.

No prior experience is required, but janitorial experience helps. The company emphasizes safety training, PPE, and a commitment to long-term career growth. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Self-starter with the work ethic to operate on their own for most of the day.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up litter at outdoor sites.
• Wipe/clean surfaces such as windowsills and benches.
• Change trash bags in outdoor cans.
• Clean dumpsters and break down boxes; move pallets and furniture.
• Perform other building maintenance tasks as needed.

Grounds Labor Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Our properties are mostly commercial/retail shopping centers. You will spend your days outside, rain or shine,

• Picking up litter
• Wiping/cleaning surfaces such as windowsills, trash can lid’s, benches, etc.
• Changing trash bags in outdoor trash cans
• Cleaning out dumpster enclosures, breaking down boxes, lifting/moving heavy pallets, furniture, etc.
• Other building maintenance work as needed
• You will drive a company pickup truck to and from jobsites
• May also be required to do some work on ladders/roofs or near retention ponds
• Hang signs

Requirements

This is a driving position. Applicants must have an active driver license and a clean driving record to be considered for this position.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with the work ethic necessary to operate on their own for most of the day. Experience is not required, however janitorial, and cleaning experience is a plus. Safety is our priority! Utilizing our Safety Coordinator and holding monthly safety meetings, we make sure our employees are protected from all kinds of hazards and have the proper PPE for the job.
