Job summary

Obsolete Site on Joint Base Lewis‑McChord in the United States is seeking a laborer to support groundskeeping, facility cleaning, and general maint enance. Responsibilities include mowing, landscaping, loading supplies, and operating basic cleaning equipment.

The role requires a minimum laboring background, ability to handle tools and heavy objects, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Background checks and on-base access may be required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) month of laboring experience required.
• Ability to use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned.
• A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns.
• Loads and unloads conveyances; move materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies; collect refuse and recyclable materials.
• Cleans rugs and drapes. Cleans, waxes and polishes floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment.
• Power wash, clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, strip and polish assigned areas using light and heavy-duty powered equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
