Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a diligent maintenance associate at Joint Base Lewis-McChord to perform groundskeeping, cleaning, and routine equipment maintenance. Tasks include mowing, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, and snow removal as needed, with safe handling of power washers and cleaning gear.

The role requires moving materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining cleanliness across multiple areas, including floors, walls, and fixtures, at an on-site location.

Qualifications

• Experience with lawn care and landscaping tasks.
• Ability to operate basic maintenance and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to load/unload materials and move items with wheelbarrows or dollies.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns.
• Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans drainage ditches, shovels snow.
• Moves heavy furniture and loads/unloads conveyances; stacks and arranges supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment and cleans/maintains stockroom and cleaning supplies.
• Cleans, waxes and polishes floors; washes walls, windows and fixtures; uses ladders/scaffolds.
• Operates power washing and other heavy-duty cleaning equipment; disposes of trash and disinfects toilets.
