Job summary

Spokane International is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support its maintenance function. You will perform general labor tasks independently or in support of maintenance crews under supervision, including grounds keeping and facilities maintenance.

Duties include mowing, edging, painting, plumbing, carpentry, snow removal, traffic control, and janitorial work. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Washington driver license, and obtain forklift, man-lift, and flagger

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Two years' experience as a laborer in grounds keeping, construction, maintenance or related field.
Valid state driver license with clean record.
Must obtain forklift and man-lift certification within six months.
Must obtain Washington State flagger certification within six months.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor tasks independently or in support of maintenance activities.
Conduct grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, weeding, herbicide, fertilizer, pavement striping, fence repairs, trash collection, cleanup.
Carry out facilities maintenance: wall patching, painting, flooring, plumbing, carpentry, janitorial.
Operate snow removal equipment; snow/ice control duties as needed.
Assist with traffic control and other duties as assigned.
