The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the campus grounds and support event setup and teardown. The role includes mowing, irrigation, seasonal snow removal, and outdoor upkeep to ensure a clean, inviting environment for visitors.

Responsibilities also cover trash removal, equipment maintenance, and basic indoor housekeeping tasks as needed. Applicants should have at least two years in grounds maintenance and the ability to work outdoor in varying weather

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in grounds maintenance and/or landscaping.

Responsabilités

• Removes trash and litter from the building or campus as directed by the supervisor.
• Participates in regular seasonal snow removal as necessary.
• Set-up, transportation and take down of equipment for museum events and rentals.
• Safely operate lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, edgers, power saws) and maintain related vehicles.
• Water plants and monitor irrigation systems, making adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Keep track of grounds supplies and coordinate re-orders with vendors.
• Assist with inside housekeeping as needed.
