We are looking to fill a Grounds Crew Leader/Specialist. The role directs the work of Grounds Keepers and participates in grounds maintenance, including the care of lawns, trees, flowers, shrubs, sidewalks, snow removal; and/or applying pesticides and fertilizer at the appropriate time and in a timely manner.
Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Will occasionally be required to work outside of the regularly established schedule, which may involve on-call time during nights and weekends at certain times of the year.

The incumbent must possess or have the ability to obtain a Driver's License, and a Class B CDL with airbrakes, and a commercial applicator's license within 90 days of hire.
Prior pesticide and fertilizer application experience is preferred. Prior medium and heavy equipment operation would be beneficial.
This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
