Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems. You will assist the team, report to the Foreman, and contribute to safety-focused operations.

You will perform physical labor, lift up to 50 pounds, and travel as required to job sites. The role requires availability for outages and on-call rotations, with overtime as needed. Pike emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong culture of service to utility clients.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Assist in constructing, repairing, and maintaining underground distribution systems.
• Help install and repair underground facilities, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain excavation equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, excavators, and pulling equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and participate in outage/storm response as needed.

Connaissances
