Job summary

PIKE Electric LLC in Albany, GA is seeking a Groundman to support the construction, repair and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew, reports to the Foreman, and help install and repair lines, poles, insulators and hardware.

This role requires physical work outdoors, safety-first mindset, ability to travel long distances on short notice, a valid driver's license with CDL within 60 days, and willingness to work outages, overtime, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to safety and PPE protocols.
• Ability to communicate using hand signals and stay vigilant on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in building, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Follow Foreman's instructions and help install/repair lines, poles and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions.
