MKH Search is seeking an experienced Superintendent for multifamily new build projects in Orlando, Florida. The role involves overseeing day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and budget to deliver high-quality multifamily communities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of ground-up multifamily construction, strong leadership, and excellent coordination with subcontractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, with multifamily experience preferred.
• Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for ground-up multifamily projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure progress as planned.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager and project team.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Review plans and documents to identify potential issues.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, and manpower requirements.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to leadership.
• Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts promptly.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, inspections, and final completion.
