Job summary

SkyHop Global LLC in Glendale, NY is seeking an Assistant Station Leader to support our NYC operation. This on-site leadership role focuses on supervising drivers, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

You will partner with the Station Leader, oversee daily operations, and serve as acting leader when the Station Leader is off-site. A path to greater leadership exists through growth into Station Leader and Regional Manager roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, aviation, hospitality, or another high-volume service industry.
• Hands-on operator who is visible and active in the field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7/365 operation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices is a plus (training provided).
• Must reside in the NYC area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 24/7 ground-transportation operation in NYC.
• Coach and develop teams of drivers and monitor performance.
• Maintain staffing, schedules, and workflows to meet airline needs.
• Promote safety, DOT compliance, and company policies.
• Track metrics and proactively elevate issues when needed.
• Build strong relationships with airline partners and leadership.
• Act as leader in absence of Station Leader.
