Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Ground Systems to lead the execution of our next generation ground architecture across satellite constellations, driving scalable operations and automation within a major modernization effort.

You will coordinate across engineering, mission ops, infrastructure, cybersecurity and software, establish governance, and report progress to program leadership. US citizenship and ITAR compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years leading complex technical programs in aerospace or defense-related sectors.
• Experience managing large cross-functional programs across software, hardware and operations.
• Experience delivering ground systems or mission/satellite operations infrastructure.
• Proven ability to build integrated program plans and manage milestones across engineering.
• Strong systems engineering: integration, verification, validation, and readiness.
• Active US security clearance or ability to obtain one is desirable.
• Lead a major ground-architecture modernization across multiple satellite constellations.
• High-visibility role reporting to program leadership with platform strategy influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the ground architecture implementation roadmap across multiple teams.
• Coordinate delivery of the target ground architecture supporting several constellations.
• Drive cross-functional planning, execution, dependency management, and milestones.
• Partner with engineering leadership to align decisions with operational goals.
• Establish program governance, technical reviews, and executive reporting.
• Identify program risks and drive resolution through data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate readiness activities for deployment, integration, verification, and transition.
